Plug the Data Link Adapter into the machine's CAN-bus port.
Modern JCB machines use encrypted transponders within the key head. Unlike simple mechanical keys, these require electronic authorization from the machine's Engine Control Unit (ECU).

Insert the registered Master Key into the ignition. Turn it to the 'ON' position for five seconds, then turn it off and remove it.
Installing a new key code is a high-security action. Always keep your Master Key in a secure, fireproof location away from the machine. If a key is stolen, use the "Erase All Keys" function in the machine settings to ensure the old code can no longer start the engine, then re-program only the keys currently in your possession.
