Set in a desolate, imaginary geography that looks like a cross between a desert and a forgotten wasteland, the story follows Raghu (Asif Ali), a scruffy and reclusive man who manages a remote railway level cross. His mundane, isolated life is turned upside down when he discovers a woman named Chaithali (Amala Paul) who has jumped from a moving train.

How does living at the edge of the world change a person’s morality?

The film brilliantly uses "unreliable narrators," leaving the audience questioning which version of the story to believe until the final frame.
